View In: ArcGIS Online Map Viewer

Parent Layer: Sewer Infrastructure

Name: Sewer Services

Display Field: created_user

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline

Description:

Sewer services, typically drawn 90 degrees from main line. Source documents vary from "as builts" to inspection videos.

4/14/2023 Notes: Recent entries, those made within the last 3-4 years, are likely derived from "as builts" CAD .dwg drawings that contain coordinates. Older entries are likely from sewer inspections, and are drawn perpendicular to the main. These sewer inspections refer to the CCTV videos and documentation found in laserfische (link to Derek's file location). Entries that have nothing in the "Source" attribute may be from georeferenced 'as builts' scans (these can be found in the laserfiche Public Works-Engineering-Developement, or in the Public Works drive under either the GIS, Projects, and/or Subdivisions folders). It is also possible that it is unknown where those service locations came from.

Some service locations are GPS'd directly during construction by the building official/inspector. These are indicated in the source field.

This layer was first created cerca 2016-2017 by some combination of Ryan and an intern named Alma, and Jackie Malloy took-over the task after beginning as an intern in 2017. The first SDE database was scrubbed and rebuilt in 2018, so create dates may reflect this-not the actual create date.

Editing recommendations are to sort by NULL in the Source field, and then based-on location/neighborhood, reference the maps accompanying the inspection video (Derek's file).

The sewer system is going to be inspected, again, in the next 4ish years.
